MICROADVENTURE PADDLE & HIKE
May & August 2023
With a river decent on Day 1 and a woodland wander & workshop on Day 2 this weekend adventure for 6 comprised of a day building paddling skills an overnight bivy and a day of exploring Bluebell woods and learning the art of 'falling again'
"I learnt more paddle techniques than I was expecting - very happy with that. Great to try a different kayak too. Enjoyed the skills sections spread out across the paddle. The pace and time on the water was good for the group as a whole. I like going a bit faster and further and I like to get into the rhythm of it that way. But then again, it gave me the opportunity to practice different techniques more while "waiting up" or adjusting to the group pace. It was also great to learn more about river/wind conditions and considerations for the journey.

5HR WORKSHOP ON EXPEDITIONING WITH SEA KAYAKS

From kit to food, packing and expectations, the first in our series of events for this year, a 5 hour workshop, saw participants building knowledge and understanding on how to expedition in sea kayaks.

Starting as a customer it was a privilege to find myself not just guiding & coaching but collaborating on the development of this business through 2021 into 2022. With it's all time best performance across all KPIs, through 2021 and systems in place, the reins were handed back over through the 2022 season.
