Outcome: A weeks adventure paddling the Scilly Isles archipelago

Description:

“This exploration touring weekend consists of individual day trips whilst enjoying the benefits of a base location.  The Isles of Scilly are a sub-tropical archipelago, home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. Its crystal clear waters, sparkling white beaches are breath-taking and magical, with years of diverse history and legendary pirate tales.  I have chosen to work with a like-minded team of paddlers, with their wealth of international paddling experience and 10 years of local knowledge and we know you will have a fun and enthusiastic week, be challenged if you choose, and see some of the Isles best and beautiful locations. ”

Outline:

1. Arrive on the island and settle into your chosen accommodation
2. Arrival evening a group meal with introductions & briefing
3. 1st paddling day; arrive @ the kit base, organise kit & boats and then a short shakedown paddle
4. Over the week enjoy a great day’s journey on the water & return to site for debriefing
5. Final day; decamp and travel home

• Time Allotment: 1 week  (factor in additional travel time to/from the islands)

Pre-requisites & Assessment:

• 18+ years of age
• Intermediate with no formal assessment. You should be fit enough for 4-5 days back to back paddling.

Cost & Dates:

• Price: £625 pp (excluding food & accommodation) our partners will request a deposit to secure & balance 6 weeks prior.
• Date: Sunday 9th July to 16th July
• Equipment: You’re welcome to bring your own paddling kit, boats will be provided and all personal paddling equipment is available to borrow.
• Participants must make their own travel & accommodation arrangements to St Marys.
